CONGRATULATIONS TO BUSSELTON MEMBERS

Big shout out to the members at Busselton City for notifying the Union about attempts by management to make them use leave to cover for Monday the 4th of February 2021. The Engineering and parks Crews were told to go home on Monday and when they came to work on the Tuesday were asked to fill in leave forms to cover for the Monday. Fortunately, they had teh good sense to check with union first After sending and urgent email to HR- Council withdrew their instruction immediately.

Section 524 of the Fair Work Act was the basis of the Union position.

Remember, if in doubt GIVE US A SHOUT!!!!!
